In his most prominent feature film role to date, Peter plays Judge Thomas Jackson in White Boy Rick, which stars Academy Award-winning actors Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Jason Leigh as well as Hollywood legends, Bruce Dern and Piper Laurie. In fact, Messrs. Mc Conaughey and Dern and Ms. Laurie appear in the same scene with Peter. The film, which tells the real life story of Richard Wershe, Jr., the youngest informant in F.B.I. history, is set for a August 17, 2018, release.
Hopefully, you didn't leave the room during the breaks in the action this past NBA playoff season, and you spotted Peter in a national Kia commercial, starring LeBron James. In the televised version of the ad, Peter appears in two shots, one of them by himself. Click here to watch the full version.
Be on the lookout for Peter in Legacy, a police drama starring Peter Stormare (Fargo) and directed by David Armstrong (Saw series). This cleverly crafted film, which should soon be released, is bound to keep you in suspense.
If you love Twilight Zone, you will certainly enjoy All Eyes on Emma, a short film in which Peter plays the lead role of Professor McCready, a harried college drama teacher who dares not take his eyes off of a former student. "Emma" screened at both the Scares That Care Weekend Film Festival and at the Greater Cleveland Urban Film Festival.
Starve, which recently concluded a lengthy run on the SyFy Channel, is available at Redbox. In this horror/thriller film, Peter plays the role of Norman. Pick up the DVD, and see Peter in a way that you have never... hopefully... seen him before.
Please excuse Peter if he's feeling a bit schizophrenic these days. He recently finished wrapping two short films in Pittsburgh - a drama in which he plays a pornographer trying to lure a young homeless woman into the 'industry" and a comedy in which he officiates a madcap high stakes badminton tournament - and one in Kent, Ohio, where he plays a father willing to sacrifice his life for that of his son in a post-apocalyptic America. Peter also just completed a run as a jazz musician and prodigal husband and father in James Baldwin's classic drama, The Amen Corner. Finally, Peter has been cast as the grandfather of an angry, "militant" teenager in Br'er Cotton, which begins its run March 29, 2018, at Cleveland Public Theatre. See more here.
